Born and raised in South Louisiana, "J" Hutson grew up hunting and fishing in the marshes and swamps of the Northshore.  "J" started doing fiberglass work for a local company as a way to support his family.  His love and appreciation for the outdoors turned a job into a career.  "J" has been working with fiberglass for nearly 20 years.

     Lifetime Pirogues and mudboats are all hand laid fiberglass with rolled gunwales.  It makes for a stronger and lighter boat that is built to last for a lifetime.  The rolled gunwales eliminates the need for wood rails which eventually rot and need replacement.  The seats are also solid fiberglass.  There are several color options for gel coat.  There are several options available to customize your boat.  All boats produced by Lifetime Pirogues have a lifetime warranty against delamination.
